Vanilla Caramel Cookie Lasagna

Image
Ingredients Lorna Doone cookies Chips Ahoy cookies 2 containers Cool Whip or prepare fresh whipped cream 1 jar caramel sauce 1 box vanilla pudding (instant or cooked), prepared and chilled ½ bag crushed Heath Bar Candies Instructions This recipe is all about the art of layering and chilling in the fridge so the magic can happen. The magic being that the cookies soften to create a delicious and sinful dessert. I began by spreading Lorna Doone cookies along the bottom of an 8x8 glass dish. Next, a layer of pudding, then cool whip and caramel. Now, I snuck on a layer of crushed Heath Bar candies. For round two, I placed a layer of Chips Ahoy, the rest of the pudding, more cream, caramel. Keep repeating until you reach the top! Top it off with more caramel and chill 6 hours or overnight! cooking classes, cooking classes atlanta, culinari institute of america, cooking classes chicago, pastry chef, baking classes, cooking class, cooking classes, cooking classes atlanta, culinari instit...

Fudge Crinkles (A Great 4 Ingredient Cake Mix Cookie)

Image
INGREDIENTS 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box devil's food cake mix (Betty Crocker Super Moist suggested) 1⁄2 cup vegetable oil 2 large eggs confectioners' sugar or granulated sugar, for rolling DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350°. Stir (by hand) dry cake mix, oil and eggs in a large bowl until dough forms. Dust hands with confectioners' sugar and shape dough into 1" balls. Roll balls in confectioners' sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until center is JUST SET. Remove from pans after a minute or so and cool on wire racks. *My Notes*:. I have tried these with several different cake mix brands. They all come out good, but the Betty Crocker does come out the best. I was having a problem with my cookies flattening while baking. This usually happens with the generic cake mix brands. You can play with your oven temp and try them on 375 to keep them from spreading. Adding more oil than called for will also cause the cookies to spread --...
